



He is interested in unraveling the role of genomics on human health and disease and to apply and develop novel data-analytical models using ML and probabilistic methods to analyze, integrate and interpret diverse, complex and large-scale genomic datasets. Her research has been focused in the development of mathematical and statistical models for a wide range of research problems in the field of population genetics. Her expertise and knowledge have been applied in problems regarding the genetic characterization of human populations, human and nonhuman forensic genetics, mutation and kinship modeling, and in multimodal studies of neurological diseases.
