At the International Association of Forensic Sciences (IAFS) conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, Marco Iannaccone, our PhD candidate at the University of Genoa (UNIGE), Italy, presented this poster showcasing his ongoing research and scientific contributions. The poster provided an opportunity to share his work with the international forensic science community and to engage in valuable scientific discussions with researchers and practitioners from around the world.
We are delighted to announce that our doctoral candidate, Merle Dorsch, was awarded first prize for her poster entitled “Diatoms and other siliceous microorganisms as complementary forensic indicators in drowning diagnosis” at the conference MSCA in Estonia: Strengthening Research through International Talent. This award reflects the quality of her research and the importance of innovative approaches in forensic science.
